AL5: MOL Emissary 044W as of 23rd December
This is to update you that MV MOL Emissary is currently at Los Angeles for inspection and
necessary repairs, after the vessel experienced rudder issue while awaiting to berth at Los
Angeles. All reefer units onboard are working and are being monitored regularly.
We are currently waiting for the vessel owner's assessment of the vessel condition and will
advise further regarding her schedule and cargo arrangements once more information is
available.

necessary repairs, after the vessel experienced engine issue while en route to Laem Chabang
for the vessel’s intended phase in into East Coast 5 (EC5) Service.

As a follow up to our previous Customer Advisories regarding the Ports of Los Angeles and Long
Beach. The Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach announced today that consideration of the “Container Excess Dwell Fee” would be held off another week, until December 27th, 2021.

LA/LB Initiative - Temporary Waiver of ‘Diversion Fee(s)’ for IPI
In a proactive effort to help alleviate congestion, ONE North America is encouraging our customers to divert inbound, local LA/LB containers to move inland by rail to IPI points. To further support this effort, ONE will be extending the waiver of the ‘Import Diversion Fee’ (Tariff rule ONEY-101.201) and related admin charges for any local LA/LB cargo changed to an IPI point via rail.

experienced rudder issues while awaiting to berth at Los Angeles. The vessel is currently assisted by
the tugboat to move into inner anchorage in Los Angeles for further inspection before her berthing.
All reefer units onboard are working and are being monitored regularly.

eModal Temporary Outage
Ocean Network Express was notified of a systems outage within the eModal (Import Demurrage) portal that could impact the ability of payment and container release. In a proactive effort to limit disturbance in collecting your cargo, Ocean Network Express has implemented the below process in which you can request a release to then be invoiced after outgate. Container(s) will be investigated to see if they’ve been impacted by the outage.
