Singapore, 23 November 2023 – Ocean Network Express (ONE) is proud to announce the launch of a new trial aimed at unlocking the potential of wind propulsion as a sustainable solution for the maritime industry. Following the successful completion of a factory test, ONE, in partnership with Dutch maritime wind-powered technology experts Econowind, is set to install two containerized wind assist devices, known as VentoFoil containers, on the MV Kalamazoo. The 1,036 TEU feeder vessel operates between Pusan, Yokohama, and Honolulu, and is owned by NORSE UK and operated by Goodwood Ship Management, Singapore.

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is pleased to announce the new Black Sea Turkey Service (BTS). This new service will offer customers an enhanced coverage in the Eastern Mediterranean region and offers a direct connection from Istanbul, Turkey to Varna, Bulgaria and Constanza, Romania.

The PS7 ONE IBIS 0031E/W will call International Terminal Services (ITS) in Long Beach instead of Trapac in Los Angeles for schedule recovery. The vessel is currently estimated to arrive in Long Beach on November 28th.

The Panama Canal Authority (PCA) has published their latest advisory that water levels in Gatun Lake continue to decrease to unprecedented levels. Due to the lack of improvement, the additional daily transit capacity reduction has been planned.

To assist in EC6 schedule recovery, we will suspend the Rodman, Panama call until further notice.

The last EC6 vessel to call Rodman will be the ONE CONTRIBUTION 055W. The Rodman ETA is December 20th.

As mentioned in the previous advisory, the first EC6 vessel to call Bayport Container Terminal will be the ONE COMPETENCE 0087W, ETA November 25th.

Singapore, 9 November 2023 – Ocean Network Express (ONE) is pleased to announce the success of its first interactive loss prevention workshop, held at ONE’s headquarters in Singapore on 07 November 2023. The workshop brought together representatives from Protection and Indemnity (P&I) clubs — NorthStandard Club, UK P&I Club, Steamship Mutual — as well as ONE’s insurance provider, TM Claims Service Asia, and broker, Marsh. Workshop participants included ONE’s fleet management, vessel operation and marine safety teams. 

To ensure service quality, Ocean Network Express (ONE) is pleased to announce a change in Houston terminal on EC6 from the current Barbours Cut Container Terminal to Bayport Container Terminal. The last vessel to call at Barbours Cut Container Terminal will be the MV ONE MAJESTY 011W arriving on 21st Nov 2023.

Singapore, 6 November, 2023 – Ocean Network Express (“ONE”) is pleased to announce it has obtained all necessary regulatory approvals and completed its acquisition of a 51% stake in each of TraPac LLC (“TraPac”) and Yusen Terminals LLC (“YTI”), and a 20% stake in Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG). In addition to strengthening ONE's presence in the global supply chain, these acquisitions safeguard its access to terminal capacity in key and strategic gateways, support its growth ambitions, and enhance its service offerings to customers.
