Demurrage Free Receive Date
Effective May 1, 2021, DFRD calculation has been changed to commence from vessel schedule ETA ( estimated time of arrival) to vessel planned ETB (estimated time of berthing) - all other information remains unchanged.
DFRD=Demurrage Free Receive Date
The DFRD date is the first date that you may tender an export container without incurring ONE demurrage.
Delivering containers too early will result in ONE outbound demurrage being charged per our tariff rules, regardless of the marine terminal's published earliest receiving date. Outbound demurrage applies equally to merchant and carrier haulage.
Consecutive Days: Include Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays
Working Days: Exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays
Demurrage clock starts from the day after the cargo has been received at the load port and will end on the day of scheduled vessel arrival at the load port, as of the time the container is gated in at the load port.
**The calculation of billable Demurrage, is based on vessel ETB at the time of container in gate**
Free time calculation starts from the first midnight after the cargo has been received at the load port.
Free time calculation ends, based on ONE's tariff.
