Clarification of Rail Overweight Surcharge (AGW) Update

Dear Valued Customers,
Please see the clarification below regarding our previous advisory concerning updates to the Rail Overweight Surcharge (AGW). As a reminder, the rate levels below apply for all overweight dry cargo moving via rail transport in the United States or Canada. The new rates went into effect April 1, 2024.
This advisory serves only to clarify that the weight threshold is calculated as gross weight, excluding tare weight. There have been no changes to the rates.
