Cargo Acceptance Guidelines Update - 10/4
Dear Valued Customers,
As an update to our previous advisory on Cargo Acceptance, please see below for the latest information on NA Exports & Imports via U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coasts.
NA Exports via U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coast:
- New Export Bookings:
- For dry cargo, ONE will continue accepting new bookings and resume hazardous cargo via rail .
- For reefer cargo, ONE will resume accepting bookings for vessels departing on or after October 14, 2024.
- Demurrage:
- Demurrage will continuously follow ONE’s standard policy based on the terminal ERD (Earliest Return Date). For inland locations, ONE does not charge demurrage at rail locations.
- Detention:
- Detention clock will restart from Monday, October 7, 2024 for any locations where the detention was turned off.
NA Imports via U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coasts:
- New Import Bookings:
- ONE accepts new bookings for all trades and all cargo types (including reefer and hazardous)
- Demurrage:
- The clock will be resumed based on terminal opening for cargo movement. ONE does not charge demurrage at rail locations.
- Detention
- The clock will restart from Monday, October 7, 2024 for any locations where the detention was turned off.
- COD(Change of Destination)
- COD requests are accepted per ONE standard process but subject to availability
- Exception: COD requests will not be feasible for EC2- AIN SNAN EXPRESS , once bookings are restored to their original discharge port due to operational challenges.
